The following is just a set of short little profiles for each of the main characters of Idol Archer - at least, those who have appeared to date. (We haven't met a single vampire yet! Boo!)

| Sevrin's pretty much your average teenage boy. He's fairly quiet and thoughtful, although very imaginative and (of course) loves adventure. He has a tendency to blurt out whatever's on his mind, which is the cause of much embarrassment. He tends to think things are exciting without taking them seriously (a lot like Talyn). He loves Medieval times and his favourite story is Robin Hood. |

| Haley is Sevrin's cat. That's really about it. He's not technically allowed to keep her at the orphanage, but he does anyway. She was a stray until he found her. She's very small for a cat and seems to be blind - her eyes are always closed - but she gets around with surprising ease. She tends to act more like a dog than a cat (but thankfully she doesn't drool!) and follows Sevrin everywhere. |

| Talyn is an adventurous young wannabe-sorceror whose life goal is to be a master. (The only problem is that his mother won't let him.) When Sevrin arrives, he jumps at the chance to befriend the mystic "human." He seems to be pretty good friends with Ghost and Fox, and calls Ayla his best friend. He's very tanned and likes going shirtless in warm weather. He loves nature and wants to be a master of healing magic like his father. |

| Ghost is an energetic waif who abandoned home some time ago and wandered around doing odd jobs. When he reached Dramane, however, he took one look at Foxglove and has been hanging around there ever since. His past is largely a mystery since he's never really spoken about it to anyone. (Sev thinks he's a stray cat like Haley.) He's good friends with Talyn, and mooches off him for a place to stay, doing errands for people to cover his expenses. His forte is carpentry. |

| Mr. Tall, Dark, and Handsome himself. He's well aware that Ghost and Ayla are feuding over him, but manages to avoid ever really having to deal with either. He's not a very good conversationalist but is very good at avoiding topics he doesn't want to discuss. He lives in a cave with his freaky sister Fennel and works as a male escort (ie, a prostitute) to support the two of them. |

| Dokuja lives by himself outside the groves, and is entirely self-sufficient. He studies magic and culture, particularly that of Sevrin's world, and has Fennel run errands for him. He's very mature and it's easy to forget that he's actually younger than Foxglove. His past is also a complete mystery, as is the reason he is cursed with a half-snake body. He has a crush on Ghost, but Ghost is very much not interested.(He finds Dokuja a little creepy.) |

| Social and upbeat, Ayla is the only daughter of a rather well-to-do "upperclass" family in Dramane. She adores baking and organizing parties, as well as that 'hunk' Foxglove. She and Talyn have been friends since they were children, and she's friends with Ghost as well (although the two consider each other rivals when Foxglove is around.) For all her charm and class, she packs a lot of hidden strength thanks to her heritage. She can also swing into moods of self-pity when contemplating her crush. |

| Fennel is the snappy, malicious sister of Foxglove. She despises just about everyone in Dramane for what they did (or didn't do) to her family and Dokuja, the latter of which she has a very obvious thing for. She works as his messenger and delivery girl, and wants to one day become a master of the dark arts so she can finally teach everyone a lesson. She hates her brother more than anyone, for reasons entirely unclear to Fox's friends. She's spoiled, demanding, and sensitive about her height and (lack of) build. |

| The travelling son of a fairly wealthy merchant, Linden literally has nothing better to do than throw cash around. He's currently in Dramane actively pursuing Ayla, an arrangement her parents have already okayed, but she despises him and calls him an arrogant, spoiled brat. (Besides, her heart belongs to another..) Linden himself is a rather advanced healer (magical doctor) by profession, although if you ask he will call himself an amateur. He's determined to win Ayla's heart and has little interest in Sevrin's world. |

| Caol showed up out of the blue and attacked the group, mistaking Sevrin for a vampire (whom he apparently hates). He claims to come from Anraea, a mythic Sacred Valley to the east, although Talyn is highly suspicious of him. His behavior is odd and his motives are hard to determine, plus he has a funny accent that makes him hard for poor Sevrin to understand. He travels with a pack of wolves, who seem to readily obey his commands. He is an excellent fighter, but is rather difficult to get along with. |
